Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate support professional to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide personalized support to clients with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming
  • Provide safe and reliable transportation assistance
  • Offer respite care to clients and their families, providing much-needed relief and support
  • Maintain accurate records of clients' care plans and progress, utilizing your organizational skills to ensure seamless communication
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, their families, and care team members, fostering a sense of community and trust
  • Cultivate a culture of health and safety within the team, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date on industry best practices and advancements

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate 3 in individual support or higher preferred
  • Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating empathy and understanding
  • Strong comprehension of the NDIS and its guidelines, ensuring compliance and advocacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
