About the Role

We invite applications for newly created, entry-level Technical Specialist positions within our technical engineering team. As a Technical Specialist, you will work alongside experienced specialists to provide daily support ensuring our fleet remains compliant with continuing airworthiness and our aircraft remain efficient in alignment with business requirements.

This is a developmental role for those willing to learn and grow in taking on many standard specialist responsibilities aligned to your level of experience, with the ability to build expertise on various aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out specialist responsibilities for assigned specializations (e.g., airframe systems, structures, cabin systems, avionics, powerplant, major components, or e-enabling)
  • Provide support to specialists where required
  • Ensure work is accomplished to standards set by regulations and the company manual suite
  • Ensure maintenance operations are supported with robust technical support
  • Utilize TRAX maintenance information system per defined procedures to effectively manage aircraft service literature and modification programs on the fleet
  • Maintain an overview of fleet configuration and ensure fleet standards are maintained
  • Ensure aircraft deliver OTP goals set by senior management
  • Actively collaborate with reliability teams and provide technical solutions to improve fleet reliability

Requirements

  • Qualifications as a professional engineer (degree) or aircraft maintenance engineer trade (certificate IV in aeroskills)
  • Minimum 3 years study or practical working experience in aviation engineering
  • Ability to communicate & negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Process-driven, with experience in constructing new processes to deliver business goals
  • Highly motivated with a learning mindset
  • Able to build effective working relationships
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft suite (in particular Excel and PowerPoint)
