Aviation Engineer Specialist

Job Summary:

  • To identify and correct malfunctioning aircraft mechanical components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs diagnostic duties on various aircraft models involving diagnoses of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, and components.
  • Checks, corrects, or replaces complex aircraft assemblies and landing gear systems.
  • Repairs or replaces engine components such as fuel control units, air bleed system, oil and fuel pumps, starter/generators, and hydraulic and vacuum pumps.
  • Conducts functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests, alignment, and preventive maintenance on the same. Rigging and setting stops.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a B1 license.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments necessary to perform job assignments.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Excellent customer service abilities required.

Education and Experience:

  • Must hold a B1 CASA license.
  • Experience on business aviation.
