
Senior Inventory Management Professional

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to manage logistics, warehouse, and distribution strategies to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily inventory operations, performing cycle counts and stocktakes, and reconciling discrepancies. Additionally, the candidate will oversee inventory management, supplier and customer relations, and logistics coordination.
- Cycle Counts & Stocktakes: Plan and execute regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels, reconciling discrepancies and updating records as needed.
- Inventory Management: Perform inventory reconciliations and variance reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring stock traceability through detailed records of inventory movements and investigations into stock issues and claims.
- Supplier & Customer Relations: Manage service levels and agreements with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, addressing non-conformances and claims from customers and warehousing while maintaining high standards of service and resolving issues promptly.
- Logistics Coordination: Liaise with transportation companies to arrange the collection and delivery of goods to customer and 3PL sites, booking trucks, coordinating schedules, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational corporation with operations in the Asia Pacific region.
- Proven experience in logistics, distribution, and imports/exports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Excel and Warehouse Management systems.
- Previous experience working within manufacturing and/or FMCG is desirable.
- Process and results-driven.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A solution-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to analyze and process high volumes of data and documentation daily.
