Pricing and Inventory Management Role

The Pricing and Inventory Manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and optimization of product pricing and inventory data across the business. This role involves executing consistent and accurate pricing strategies across internal and external systems, as well as managing and creating ERP Master Data for inventory and pricing related fields.

This position requires a high level of ownership, responsiveness, and professionalism, with strong stakeholder relationships to align priorities and remove roadblocks. The manager will also be responsible for mentoring and developing pricing analysts as required, championing data integrity and process ownership within the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and managing all customer and product pricing across systems (ERP, customer portals, and eCommerce avenues)
  • Ensuring buyer forecasting templates are accurately collated, distributed, and updated at every requirement
  • Collaborating directly with customers on pricing enquiries to ensure a good customer experience

In addition to these key responsibilities, the Pricing and Inventory Manager will also be accountable for the accurate mapping of catalogues and inventory end to end, understanding the inventory/item code specifications and the product's application, and owning system inventory accuracy for customer-facing platforms and internal inventory mapping requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems and CRM tools
  • Experience using Power Query
  • High attention to detail and strong data integrity mindset
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities
