Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Risk Management Specialist - Insurance Claims to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing complex claims across financial lines and professional indemnity risks.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in managing complex claims and at least 2 years' experience in coaching and people development. A background in insurance law or a similar field is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical decision-making for specialty claims teams across portfolios.
- Serve as the next-level decision-maker for complex claim referrals from senior claims officers and leaders.
- Coach and mentor senior claims officers, claims officers and coaches.
- Support the design and implementation of processes and internal controls to ensure adherence to risk frameworks and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with the National Manager to set benchmarks for technical performance, fostering a high-performing and engaging team environment.
- Design and implement improvements to elevate technical decision-making within specialty claims teams and the broader Commercial Claims business.
- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
