Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Central Queensland. The successful candidate will provide specialist nursing care to clients with complex mental health needs across community and custodial settings.

This is a short-term contract (with opportunities for ongoing roles) that offers professional growth, meaningful work, and the chance to be part of a supportive regional health team.

You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, delivering recovery-oriented care, mentoring colleagues and contributing to safe, trauma-informed practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

AHPRA Registration as a RN

Experience in Forensic or Mental Health Nursing

Current Driver's Licence and General Criminal History Check
