
Senior Forensic Mental Health Professional

- Current AHPRA registration as an RN
- Experience in forensic or mental health nursing
- Current driver's licence and general criminal history check
You will be working in a short-term contract (with opportunities for ongoing roles) providing specialist nursing care to clients with complex mental health needs across community and custodial settings.
- Case Management: Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and support clients on their recovery journey.
- Community-Based Care: Provide mental health services in home, clinical, and community settings.
- Crisis Intervention: Deliver immediate support to individuals in distress, ensuring safety and stability.
- Collaborative Approach: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers.
- Advocacy & Support: Educate clients and their families, connecting them with resources for long-term care.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in mental health case management, current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Clinical Nurse / Clinical Nurse Consultant), ability to work autonomously in regional & remote settings, and passion for delivering high-quality mental health care.
