You will work in various facilities with the Central Queensland Forensic Mental Health Service. The service covers a 900-inmate male prison and female and juvenile inmates.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality mental health care across the continuum of forensic mental health in various settings.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure seamless transitions between different settings.
- Develop strategies to improve patient outcomes, contributing to excellence in care delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient-centered approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Board of Australia.
- Eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Psychiatry with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
- Significant experience in psychiatric practice and expertise in facilitating mental health care across various settings.
- Eligibility for accreditation as a RANZCP-approved supervisor, providing opportunities for professional growth.
