Regional Operations Director

Sunwater seeks a seasoned leader to spearhead operations in the South Region.

The ideal candidate will lead a diverse team by providing strategic guidance, driving performance, and championing a customer-focused operating model.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe and efficient management of regional bulk water systems, industrial pipelines, and irrigation systems.
  • Deliver operational services sustainably and transparently, meeting corporate objectives and targets.
  • Ensure compliance with asset-related requirements and ensure obligations are met by the South team.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with Sunwater's regional operations and infrastructure, developing mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance Sunwater's financial position, respond to external changes, and position the company for future success.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of leadership experience in bulk water infrastructure, industrial pipelines, irrigation systems, or a closely related sector.
  • Deep industry insight and a proven track record of strategic oversight at the senior level.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in management, engineering, business, or project management highly desirable.
