Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Community Growth Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to foster a thriving community of open source enthusiasts.

As a Community Growth Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, executing, and scaling initiatives that drive community engagement and growth. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop content, managing online communities, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute community growth strategies to increase engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to create high-quality content that promotes community initiatives.
  • Manage online communities through various channels, including social media, forums, and email lists.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and systems to support community growth.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans to drive community growth.

Requirements

To be successful as a Community Growth Specialist, you should have a strong background in community management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with developer tools and open source projects is desirable. A clear public record of accomplishments, such as talks, blog posts, GitHub, or X, is also preferred.
