Schools Engagement Lead

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Schools Engagement Lead to spearhead the development and execution of our primary school engagement strategy in the Canberra Region.
- Develop and implement a compelling schools program that aligns with our festival goals and objectives
- Work collaboratively with programmers to design an engaging and educational program for primary school students
- Manage bookings for excursions to festival events in the last week of Term 1, ensuring seamless logistics and exceptional student experiences
- Foster strong relationships with school leaders and educators in the Canberra Region to drive participation and enthusiasm for our festival
- Collaborate with creatives to develop practical resources that support excursion planning and curriculum outcomes, enhancing the learning experience for students
- Coordinate communications and planning across various stakeholders, including school administrators, teachers, and parents, to ensure smooth event execution
- Evaluate feedback from participants and report on engagement outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
This role requires a deep understanding of Canberra's education landscape, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for education and community engagement, as well as the capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
