The Head of External Communications will lead our external communications function, encompassing media relations, government relations, stakeholder engagement, and all external communications and marketing activities to support business objectives.

This key role ensures that communications and engagements reflect our values of integrity, collaboration, and performance, thereby enhancing our reputation and supporting business objectives.

The Head of External Communications will represent us within the customer and industry community, maintain strong relationships across Defence, government, and key media stakeholders, and collaborate with Group communication efforts to communicate relevant information to investors and ensure effectiveness and consistency of communications.

As an ideal candidate, you'll present with significant experience in government relations, communications, and/or marketing within Defence Industry or ASX listed companies in Australia, underpinned by relevant tertiary qualifications.

  • Lead and manage external communications and media relations;
  • Develop and implement effective communications strategies;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Represent the company at external events and functions;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging;
