Phone Support Volunteer Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need. As a Phone Support Volunteer, you will be responsible for conducting regular well-being phone calls to clients across the city.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact registered participants according to your rostered schedule.">
  • Arrange shift coverage if unable to fulfill your commitment.">
  • Conduct weekly well-being calls with assigned clients.">
  • Accurately record data in our system (training provided).">
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of client records.">
  • Follow all relevant procedures and guidelines.">

About You

">

We are looking for someone with strong listening skills and the ability to follow instructions. You should have empathy for older individuals and people with disabilities, and experience supporting the ageing community (professionally or personally) would be beneficial.

You will also need a genuine desire to help others and promote social well-being, as well as interest in working with individuals experiencing disability, ageing, or mental health challenges. A team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills is essential, along with professional and respectful representation of our organization.
