Job Role: Community Connect Volunteer
Role Overview:We are seeking a Community Connect Volunteer to join our team, providing well-being phone calls to individuals in need of support.
This role involves conducting scheduled phone calls to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being is maintained. You will also be responsible for recording data accurately and maintaining confidentiality of client records.
About the Role:- Contacting registered participants according to rostered schedules.
- Arranging shift coverage if unable to fulfill commitments.
- Conducting weekly well-being calls with assigned clients.
- Maintaining accurate records in Carelink (training provided).
- Establishing rapport with clients through empathetic listening and effective communication.
- Sympathetically responding to clients' needs, concerns, and experiences.
- Promoting social well-being through regular contact and support.
- Ensuring confidentiality and security of client records at all times.
- A strong listener with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Empathy for older individuals and people with disabilities.
- Experience supporting vulnerable populations (professionally or personally).
- A genuine desire to help others and promote social well-being.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
