Job Title: EHSQ Coordinator

As an EHSQ Coordinator, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive and consistent workplace health and safety culture.

This position involves providing expert guidance and support in the management of health, safety, environment, and training systems, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and promote initiatives that enhance health, safety, and environmental practices; foster a positive WHS culture across the site.
  • Oversee the day-to-day implementation of health and safety protocols at the facility.
  • Provide guidance to team leaders, managers, and employees on WHS-related matters and promptly report hazards.
  • Identify corrective and preventive actions; coordinate action and review plans.
  • Ensure the EHSQ system remains compliant with ISO standards.
  • Support quality assurance to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications, enabling right-first-time production.
Requirements:
  • Cert IV in WHSQ; and or 3 years plus experience in manufacturing/mining/construction industry.
  • Strong safety, quality and training background with experience in a similar position and sound knowledge of WHS requirements, legislation and compliance.
  • Experience with Safety Management Systems, Lean manufacturing and quality accredited organisations and environmental management systems. (e.g. ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO14001)
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and comfortable developing and delivering presentations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders.
