Revenue Administration Officer x 3 Job Description

Our client, a NSW Government agency, is seeking three Revenue Administration Officers to join their team in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in revenue-related administration and financial transactions in a compliance-driven environment.

Primary Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all revenue-related administrative tasks, ensuring financial transactions align with legislative, statutory, and client's compliance obligations.

Key Accountabilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative, revenue, and financial support using various billing systems for client's Revenue services.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring prompt investigation and resolution of issues in line with policies and statutory requirements.
  • Record Management: Maintain accurate records across multiple electronic patient information and billing systems to ensure precise revenue generation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with patients, Local Health Districts (LHDs), Medicare, health funds, and other organizations to ensure accurate billing.
  • Team Contribution: Contribute to team-focused environments, offering insights for the continuous review and development of practices and procedures.
Selection Criteria
  1. Demonstrated experience with billing systems and the ability to analyze and report findings.
  2. Proven knowledge of policies and legislation related to billing in accounts/revenue environments.
  3. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, capable of preparing documents and reports for stakeholders.
  4. Developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and achieve key performance indicators.
  5. Experience in handling sensitive information in compliance with confidentiality and privacy requirements.
