Renewable Energy Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our renewable energy project management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall delivery of greenfield and brownfield HV substation and eBOP system projects.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, OEMs, NSPs, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project outcomes.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence, driving continuous improvement in project delivery.
Key Skills Required:
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or progress towards chartership is preferred.
- Over 10 years' experience managing HV substation and renewable energy project designs.
- Proven ability to deliver multidisciplinary designs on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Strong technical knowledge of HV substation design, eBOP systems, protection and control, and SCADA integration.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to succeed in a fast-paced, complex project environment.
