Job Title:

Sustainability Coordinator

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and contribute to a groundbreaking project in Australia's green energy sector.

The Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network is a major infrastructure project that will deliver at least 4.5 GW of capacity from 2028, connecting 7.7 GW of wind and solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the Construction Environment Management Plan and ensure compliance with Environmental Protection Licence requirements.
  • Conduct noise and vibration assessments, and draft out-of-hours work permits.
  • Perform environmental monitoring and site inspections.
  • Participate in client inspections, ensuring timely action closure and reporting.
  • Mitigate environmental and compliance risks proactively with site teams.
  • Investigate incidents, manage reporting, and maintain waste registers.
  • Promote sustainability efforts and conduct environmental training.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Preferably 3+ years in Environmental Management within Construction, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability, or a Certificate IV in Environment.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
