Wind Turbine Maintenance Specialist

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs and upgrades on wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections, tests and assessments to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and assist with the operation of wind farm equipment including generators, transformers and control systems.
  • Document all activities, readings, materials and time used to input information into a computerised system.
Requirements:
  • Accredited electrical trade qualification.
  • Global Wind Organisation certification (GWO).
  • Preferable wind turbine experience/accreditation highly regarded but not essential.
  • Current driver's license.
  • High voltage switching experience and qualification desirable.
  • Extensive work experience in the heavy industry sector desirable.
