We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Wind Turbine Technician at our Geraldton, Western Australia site. This is a permanent position working normal hours Monday – Friday, with occasional overtime.
About the Role:- Perform scheduled maintenance routines and conduct performance checks as required to ensure optimal plant and equipment performance.
- Repair or replace defective plant equipment and undertake corrective maintenance activities to restore functionality.
- Operate and assist with the operation of all assigned plants, ensuring seamless execution of tasks.
- Record all activities, readings taken, materials and time used for input into the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Adhere to Quality Assurance requirements by performing technical procedures, inspections, and test plans to maintain high standards.
- Respond to after-hours call outs in accordance with the established Standby/call out roster.
- Provide support to other wind farm sites as necessary.
- Participate in relevant training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Travel across sites and locations to support maintenance operations across various platforms and locations.
- Accredited Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Desirable but not essential: Wind Turbine Experience/Accreditation.
- Current Driver's License.
- High Voltage Switching experience and qualification desirable.
- Extensive work experience in the heavy industry sector desirable.
- Fundamental understanding of asset management principles desirable.
