Job Overview

This role is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of wind turbines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance routines to prevent equipment failure and ensure smooth operation.
  • Equipment Repair: Identify and rectify defects in plant equipment, restoring it to a functional state.
  • Plant Operation: Operate and assist with the operation of all assigned plants, adhering to established protocols.
  • Documentation: Record all activities, readings, materials, and time used, inputting information into the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality standards by performing technical procedures, inspections, and test plans.
  • Call-out Response: Respond to after-hours call-outs as per the standby/call-out roster.
  • Site Support: Provide assistance to other wind farm sites as required.
  • Training and Development: Participate in relevant training, both formally and informally, to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Possess strong technical knowledge and proficiency in operating and maintaining wind turbine equipment.
  • Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teams.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
