We are seeking a highly skilled Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Noarlunga and Christie Downs regions of South Australia.
About the Role
- As a Disability Support Worker, you will assist clients with daily living tasks such as household duties, yard/home maintenance, and personal care.
- You will transport clients to appointments and shopping.
- Client empowerment and self-confidence building are key aspects of this role.
- The primary objective is to promote independence and well-being among clients.
- Work will be carried out within the guidelines of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and relevant information will be escalated to Team Leaders as necessary.
Requirements
- Experience in disability support work is preferred.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module is highly desirable.
- A NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check are also preferred.
- It is mandatory to hold an Australian Driver's Licence.
