Job Title:

The Aged Care Service Manager plays a vital role in delivering high-quality community services to clients under the Community Home Support (CHSP) funding.

This position is responsible for implementing and managing services, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, as well as providing direct support to clients when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership on quality of care and service-related matters
  • Ensure services comply with Aged Care Standards and legislations
  • Act as first point of contact for client enquiries and stakeholder inquiries
  • Assist staff with incident management and documentation
  • Support staff competency assessments and training
  • Recruit and select new personnel, oversee onboarding and orientation
  • Perform ongoing CHSP client reviews and manage care planning and case management
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into Visual Care system
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Aged Care or related discipline
  • Extensive experience in similar leadership role in healthcare or disability setting
  • Sound understanding of community Charter of Aged Care Rights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management and problem-solving skills
  • Police Certificate clearance and other certifications
