Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team on Kooragang Island. This is a permanent role offering stability and growth opportunities.

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing general electrical duties across workshop and production areas. You will troubleshoot and maintain industrial systems, including material handling systems, PLCs, SCADA, and automated production equipment.

  • Perform general electrical duties across workshop and production areas
  • Troubleshoot and maintain industrial systems including:
  • Material handling systems (conveyors, elevators)
  • PLCs, SCADA, and automated production equipment

You will work collaboratively with the production and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

Essential qualifications include:

  • NSW Electrical Supervisor License
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • A safety-first mindset and ability to lead by example
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent communication and planning skills

Desirable qualifications include:

  • HV Operator Certificate
  • PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley RS Logix)
  • SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Instrumentation experience
  • HRWL Boom Type EWP, Work at Heights, First Aid, LVR/CPR
