Key Role Highlights

The Infrastructure Technical Lead position is a key leadership role responsible for the delivery of infrastructure in support of organisational delivery pipeline.

About the Role

This role will oversee the modernisation of internal infrastructure and build internal platforms that enable automation, self-service and developer productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Execute the roadmap for infrastructure and platform services, aligning with business and technology goals;
  • Develop and promote internal platforms that provide self-service capabilities, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions;
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Managers and Business Analysts to provide project estimates and regular updates on project status as part of an Agile methodology;
  • Manage and mentor a team of Systems and DevOps Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have all or majority of the following skills and attributes:

  • 10+ years' experience in infrastructure with a minimum of 3-4 years' experience in technical leadership managing a team of infrastructure engineers;
  • Strong skills and demonstrated experience in Red Hat or Microsoft OS stacks;
  • Proven experience operating effectively in a DevOps environment and exposure to the complete SDLC;
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively elicit, interpret and translate processes and system information from stakeholders into complex technical solutions;
  • Experience working in a complex environment supporting multiple parallel projects;
  • Previous experience in heavily regulated industries such as payments, banking, finance will be highly desirable.
