An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Technical Consultant – Infrastructure to join a highly respected Professional Services team based in Spring Hill, Brisbane. You will be working on-site with a knowledgeable and supportive team, where your technical skills across Microsoft platforms, virtualisation, and networking will be highly valued.

  • Oversee the management and support of Microsoft Server environments, including Exchange and related services to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Hyper-V as well as hybrid Microsoft 365 configurations, focusing on user identity management and password synchronisation between on-premises systems and the cloud.
  • Drive seamless integration efforts across Microsoft 365 Premium services and existing on-premises infrastructure to maintain consistent user experiences.
  • Maintain, monitor, and optimise network infrastructure components such as Aruba wired and wireless networks to guarantee robust connectivity.
  • Configure, manage, and provide basic security oversight for Fortinet firewalls to protect organisational assets from threats.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver dependable technical solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Document all configurations, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement within existing infrastructure setups and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency or security.
  • Respond promptly to incidents or service requests related to infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Support project delivery by contributing technical insights during planning sessions and participating actively in implementation phases.
