Job Opportunity for Senior Stormwater Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to contribute to creating a liveable, safe and sustainable environment through the design of stormwater infrastructure.

This role is responsible for creating allocated civil designs and tasks in accordance with professional engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create designs and tasks for stormwater infrastructure projects.
  • Provide input into strategic documents such as reviews of Local Environmental Plans (LEPs) and State Environmental Planning Policies (SEPPs).
  • Prepare technical stormwater documents and provide expertise to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • At least 5 years post-qualification experience in stormwater management infrastructure and cost estimates.
  • Civil stormwater engineering experience with a focus on water sensitive urban design.
  • Experience in managing financial budgets and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations.
  • 5 years' experience with GIS packages and Microsoft Office; design experience with AutoCAD, 12D and water engineering applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to stormwater and catchment management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
