Guzman y Gomez is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team. As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of our Payroll.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll.
- Provide vital support to the wider teams, including HR and finance.
- Monitor timecards and exceptions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with timecard and employee setup inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
- Manage leave entries, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Review payroll reports and cross-check HR actions and payroll changes, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Facilitate payroll sign-offs, ensuring timely issuance of payslips.
- Investigate and resolve post-payroll queries, providing clear and concise explanations.
- Prepare termination off-cycle runs, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Support franchisees with payroll processing queries, providing expert guidance and advice.
- Document payroll processing procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and respond to payroll inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in a fast-paced multi-site environment.
- Experience with ichris and Tanda is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and explain payroll and T&A data.
- Ability to understand and interpret awards.
- Flexible work environment, with 1 day WFH per week.
- Up to 5 weeks annual leave as part of our 'Love Ya Leave' policy.
