Fleet maintenance involves overseeing the upkeep and repair of vehicles to ensure they remain safe and operational. As a fleet maintenance controller, you will be responsible for managing maintenance programs, authorising repairs, and liaising with suppliers and stakeholders.
This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will need to possess moderate to advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel, and have trade qualifications in motor mechanics or a similar field.
- Responsibilities include product diagnostics, authorising repairs, providing expertise as a maintenance SME, maintaining relationships with key account managers, reconciliation of issued work authorities, and accurate maintenance coding in the ERP system.
The ideal candidate will have medium to heavy commercial experience and be able to build rapport with stakeholders. This is an office-based role that utilises your mechanical expertise while offering flexibility and hybrid working arrangements.
Key Requirements- Trade qualified in motor mechanics or a similar field.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills in Excel.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Medium to heavy commercial experience highly desirable.
