The role of Banquets Service Manager plays a dynamic part in supporting the overall Food & Beverage service operation.

This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest interactions, ensuring a memorable experience for every guest.

  • Support the management of event service, banquet and event technology operations, and staff on a daily basis.
  • Ensure the highest level of service throughout the event phase, while maximising revenue opportunities through effective up-selling and cost control.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by meeting with clients to discuss their needs, outlining package options and negotiating services.
  • Promote conferences, conventions, and trade shows to potential customers, responding to inquiries about services and costs.
  • Organise registration of participants, oversee work by contractors, and report on variations to work orders.

This role requires strong interpersonal, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and high-end service standards.

Key qualifications include:

  • Excellent English communication skills in both written and spoken forms.
  • Strong planning, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under pressure with a proactive attitude and a high level of energy.
  • Experience with industry-standard software such as OPERA or MICROS.
