About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Direct Care Attendant to join our team at Renmark Nursing Home. As a Direct Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide diversional therapy and engage residents in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide qualitative care in accordance with established policies and procedures
Requirements
  • AQF Certificate III relevant to the position
  • Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of duties
  • Previous experience in providing direct care services in a health-related field, dealing with aged, frail, or disabled persons
