Caregiver - Casual

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a Residential Care Home in Waikerie.

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, showering, personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide support with feeding and maintaining mobility and dexterity through transferring and lifting, including the use of mechanical aids.
• Undertake bed making, cleaning of equipment, aids, and utensils in the work area, and distribute clean laundry and personal attire.
• Contribute to resident assessment and recording general observations, and help identify diversional therapy needs of individuals and/or groups.
• Complete routine documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
• Experience working with aged, frail, or disabled persons.
• Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and displaying empathy towards the elderly.
