About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at SA Health. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents at our Residential Care Home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in providing person-centered care.
Requirements
  • AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
