Job Role

As a Multidisciplinary Child Welfare Specialist, you will be working with vulnerable children and families within a collaborative program.

Your role will involve assessing risks to children, engaging in cross-agency practice that respects their culture and context, and sourcing timely information to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of child safety and risk concerns

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in statutory child protection or investigation services
  • A relevant degree in Social Work, Social Science, or Welfare, or equivalent qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships
  • A valid driver's licence and clearance for working with children
