The Joint Child Protection Response Program (JCPRP) Caseworker plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of children and young people within a collaborative service model.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address safety concerns for children and young people, fostering a culture of child-centered practice.
- Engage in effective communication and collaboration with families, carers, and partner agencies to deliver holistic services.
- Source accurate and comprehensive information to inform decision-making regarding child/young person's safety and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate and objective client records for reporting and information sharing purposes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of child development and protection principles. Proficiency in case management software and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are highly desirable.
