Job Title: Child Health Specialist

This role provides the opportunity to support families along their parenting journey in a range of meaningful ways.

The child health team are welcoming, supportive and fun. You will be the trusted source of knowledge, reassurance and practical strategies on everything from infant feeding and sleep to toddler behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

About the Role

As a child health nurse, you will triage referrals from diverse sources, ensuring families receive the right care at the right time. In this collaborative environment, you will work hand-in-hand with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to deliver holistic, person-centred care that uplifts, supports and inspires.

You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that build trust and connection. You will also have the ability to work seamlessly with internal teams and external partners, confidence in supporting families with complex needs and diverse backgrounds, and a proactive, compassionate and family-centred approach in everything you do.

About You

You are not just a nurse - you are a passionate advocate for families. You have the skills, empathy and drive to empower parents, foster strong parent-infant bonds and help children thrive from the very start.

Requirements include current registration as a registered nurse/midwife with AHPRA, proof of post-graduate qualifications and experience in child health nursing (or willingness to pursue).
