We're seeking an experienced Rebates and Claims specialist to assist with a contract opportunity. This position will be based in Macquarie Park, close to public transport.

As a key member of our team, you will oversee claims processing for rebates and deals, verifying claims using approved deal conditions, sell through, and other data. You will also enter payment data for cheque payments into the AP system, upload approved rebate data into the system, and generate credit notes.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the Credit team to facilitate claims processing and track actual claims from customers, reconciling them to trade spend master files and accruals as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of claims processing for rebates and deals
  • Verification of claims using approved deal conditions, sell through, and other data
  • Entry of payment data for cheque payments into the AP system
  • Upload of approved rebate data into the system and generation of credit notes
  • Weekly journal entries into ERP systems and BI systems
  • Preparation of ad hoc reports and reconciliation of data and transactions as required
  • Facilitation of claims processing with the Credit team
  • Tracking of actual claims from customers and reconciliation to trade spend master files and accruals as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in claims processing or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
