The Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN) is South Australia's leading provider of health services for children, young people and women.

As a key executive role, we seek a highly strategic senior leader to provide leadership in the advancement of research innovation and digital health initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership across interdisciplinary teams, overseeing ICT and research projects in healthcare and digital health technologies.

Key responsibilities will include leading healthcare innovation, identifying opportunities for digital solutions and integrating emerging technologies to support the enhancement of patient care and operational efficiency.

The Director will also develop and execute the digital health strategy, driving technology adoption to streamline clinical workflows and improve patient outcomes.

Establishing strategic relationships, representing WCHN in industry forums and advocating for supportive policies and funding for research and innovation will be key aspects of this role.

Requirements include a proven ability to challenge current ways of working to drive innovation, conceptualising complex issues and developing/negotiating solutions.

The ability to leverage data analytics to inform strategic decision making to improve patient outcomes and enhance operational efficiencies will also be key to success in this role.
