Acoustic Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a talented professional to contribute to our high-performing team in Sydney as an Acoustic Consultant. As part of a well-established team of Acoustics and Vibration Consultants, you will bring passion and knowledge in acoustics and broader noise and vibration disciplines.


Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out high-profile and large-scale projects within the APAC region and in NSW, requiring a broad understanding of measurement/monitoring methodologies and techniques to solve complex problems.
  • Collaborate and deliver projects with other personnel within the local, national, and global team of acoustics and vibration and/or other relevant technical disciplines to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Involvement with various project tasks including client liaison, project data management, execution of technical tasks, and report deliverables, ensuring quality control and review process on each project task.

Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant bachelor's degree or current studies (ideally mechanical engineering or science (physics)). Postgraduate qualifications will be advantageous.
  • Up to 3 years' consulting experience.
  • Experience in noise measurement and monitoring, data processing, and analysis is desirable.
  • Experience in Environmental Sciences would be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Experience with broader acoustic and vibration disciplines, as well as GIS and coding would also be highly valuable.
