As a skilled Acoustic Consultant, you will play a vital role in our organisation by conducting thorough noise and vibration assessments for various projects across diverse industries.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong technical background in acoustic consulting, noise modelling, and data analysis. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality results on a range of projects, applying your expertise to achieve outstanding outcomes.

  • Conducting detailed noise and vibration impact assessments for projects in renewables, road, rail, water, environmental, and buildings
  • Developing and implementing effective noise modelling strategies, as well as conducting thorough data analysis and creating detailed technical reports and documentation
  • Designing innovative noise and vibration mitigation treatments that meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines, as well as developing and implementing robust noise management plans and conducting field measurement activities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of relevant postgraduate experience in acoustic engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results
  • Proficiency in noise modelling software, such as SoundPLAN and CadnaA
  • A deep understanding of relevant industry standards, guidelines, and measurement equipment
  • Knowledge or interest in programming languages, such as R Studio, MATLAB, or Python, as well as data visualisation skills using tools like Power BI or Tableau
