Acoustic Consultant Position

Join us in this exciting opportunity to become a part of our team as an Acoustic Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting noise and vibration assessments for various projects across different industries.

  • Working on diverse projects while applying your technical expertise in acoustic consulting
  • Conducting noise and vibration impact assessments for projects that include renewables, road, rail, water, environmental & buildings
  • Noise modelling and data analysis, detailed technical reports and documentation
  • Designing noise and vibration mitigation treatments

Key Responsibilities:

As an Acoustic Consultant, you will be working closely with our team to conduct noise and vibration assessments for various projects. This will involve:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for reducing noise and vibration impacts
  • Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Providing technical expertise and support to clients and colleagues

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science or similar
  • 2-5 years relevant post graduate experience in acoustic engineering
  • Experience with noise modelling software (SoundPLAN, CadnaA)
  • Well-developed understanding of relevant standards, guidelines and measurement equipment
  • Knowledge or an interest in programming (R Studio, MATLAB, Python) and/or data visualisation skills (Power BI, Tableau)
