Acoustic Design Expertise SoughtJob Description

We are seeking an Acoustic Consultant Engineer to join our team of experts in building acoustics. As an integral member of our project team, you will work on the acoustic design and assessment of building projects across multiple sectors. Your role will involve conducting acoustic assessments, modelling, and design for buildings and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct acoustic assessments and develop design recommendations for building projects
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate acoustic requirements into project plans
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports and specifications
  • Utilise acoustic modelling and measurement tools to support design decisions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Acoustic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 2-5 years' experience in building acoustics or a related consultancy field
  • Strong understanding of acoustic principles, building codes, and noise control solutions
  • Proficient in software such as SoundPLAN or CadnaA
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to prepare high-quality reports
