Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to lead our legal functions, providing strategic advice and guidance to support our business growth.

This role involves overseeing franchise compliance, commercial contracting, governance and risk management, board reporting, and external counsel engagement.

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will work closely with our executive leadership team and senior stakeholders to ensure that our legal frameworks align with our business objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded, confident communicator with a strong background in franchising law, commercial contracting, and governance and risk management.

  • Franchise Compliance: Oversee all franchise legal documentation, including franchise agreements, disclosure documents, and compliance registers.
  • Commercial Contracting: Prepare, negotiate, and review a wide range of contracts, such as supplier agreements, sponsorship deals, and property leases.
  • Governance and Risk Management: Advise on risk management, privacy matters, and legislative developments; participate in internal committees as needed.
  • Board Reporting: Prepare accurate and concise legal updates for board and leadership consideration.
  • External Counsel Engagement: Manage instructions and relationships with external advisors.
