Energy Transition Leader

About the Position:

We are seeking a strategic and engaging executive to lead our energy transition division. As Energy Transition Leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing our renewable and firming energy portfolio.

You will oversee the full lifecycle of new energy projects from concept development to delivery, build strategic partnerships, and identify new investment opportunities.

The successful candidate will have deep experience in the energy sector, with a proven ability to lead complex commercial projects and infrastructure delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop a robust pipeline of new energy generation, storage, and firming projects.
  2. Lead delivery of infrastructure and systems to support future energy projects.
  3. Identify and commercialise new revenue streams and adjacent market opportunities.
  4. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with private sector entities.
  5. Oversee corporate strategy and sustainability initiatives.
About You:

Applicants should have tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, law, or a related commercial discipline, as well as experience in major project development, commercial negotiations, and deal origination and completion.

Candidates should also have a strong understanding of the Australian energy transition, regulatory frameworks, and investment environment.
