Senior Marketing Manager Job Description

Job Summary

As a Senior Marketing Manager at BIG W, you will be responsible for bringing the brand strategy to life through innovative and meaningful programs, coaching and leading a team to deliver strong brand experiences to our customers, and driving the development and execution of our brand strategy to enhance brand preference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of our brand strategy to enhance brand preference.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership to developing brand programs that are innovative, differentiating, meaningful, and relevant for our family customers.
  • Partner & collaborate with Communications & cross-functional teams to deliver an impactful Brand strategy & experiences, ensuring balance of customer-centric and business priorities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of integrated omnichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Mentor and coach the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture that encourages creativity, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Make informed decisions based on customer insights, data-led market trends, and key performance indicators to continually refine and improve the customer experience and stay abreast of industry trends, relevant effectiveness techniques, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Brand Strategy Manager for a successful customer-centric brand.
  • A thought leadership with strong influencing skills to generate support for new opportunities.
  • Bravery to try new things, thinking outside the box to deliver brand-centric customer experiences.
  • A strategic, creative, and innovative thinking with strong leadership skills to drive brand experience.
  • Previous experience as a known and trusted business partner in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team leadership; building and developing highly engaged teams who perform at their best through coaching, development, and feedback.
  • Analytical insight; measurement and impact of data to show the business results of strategic marketing efforts.
