Afterschool Club Leader Opportunity

We are seeking passionate and energetic individuals to lead our afterschool clubs, providing engaging educational experiences for primary school children.

As a club leader, you will be responsible for running 1-hour sessions, working with pre-planned projects and materials provided by STEMgineers. These projects include building torches, air rockets, and balloon-powered cars, mixing slime, or working with circuits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and introducing projects in a positive and exciting manner
  • Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed
  • Briefly explaining learning principles involved in the project
  • Demonstrating how to construct the project
  • Listening and talking to individual children, helping and guiding them through the project

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of working with children
  • Energy and enthusiasm
  • Reliability
