Job Title: Afterschool Care Assistant
We are seeking a qualified and caring individual to join our team as an afterschool care assistant at St Agnes Primary School in Highett.
The Role- Assist in delivering daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and educational.
- Supervise and support children.
- Prepare and serve healthy food options.
- Create an engaging and happy environment for children.
- Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality programs and services to children.
- Ensure the health and wellbeing of children at all times.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care (or studying towards) or equivalent.
- Working with Children Check (willing to obtain).
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain).
- Child Protection Training Certificate.
