We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic team at Shoes & Sox Warringah Mall.

In this role, you will inspire and mentor a diverse team of footwear enthusiasts to reach set KPIs and sales targets, celebrating the wins and encouraging the team to be proud of their contribution to the wider business strategy.

This role operates on a Sunday-Thursday roster, providing a great work-life balance.

The key duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting the Store Manager, you will motivate a passionate team and assist with managing the daily store operations.
  • Building and driving a customer-led culture through leading by example and delivering excellent service standards.
  • Closely monitoring store sales performance, acknowledging outstanding results and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring store presentation is immaculate through visual merchandising.
  • Taking a proactive approach in loss prevention management, including stock shrinkage.
  • Demonstrating a duty of care by ensuring the work environment is safe, healthy, and fit for work, adhering to state and national OH&S legislation.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous Assistant Store Management or Retail Sales Supervisory experience in training, coaching, and mentoring team members.
  • A warm, welcoming demeanor, with patience and a willingness to work with children.
  • A passion for creating memorable service experiences for customers.
  • A proven record of driving and exceeding KPIs.
  • Experience with stock control, visual merchandising, and a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
  • Excellent time management skills and confidence in communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
