About the Role

The successful candidate will provide operational support in the dispensing of pharmaceuticals under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring that pharmacy services are delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with a registered pharmacist to carry out duties with initiative and responsibility.
  • Independently manage tasks utilizing high-level communication skills.
  • Interpret prescriptions, understand relevant abbreviations, and stay informed about current legislation governing dispensing processes.

Requirements:

  • Be vaccinated against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in health directives.
  • Hold an approved Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support or higher/equivalent certificate.
  • Possess knowledge of healthcare pharmacy policies and procedures.
